Aaron Odom

In 2002, I left an international opera career in New York City to start a non-profit Christian concert ministry based in Central Florida. For a number of years, I led worship and sang inspirational concerts for more than 500 venues throughout the United States. I also had the opportunity to do mission work as a singer in more than twenty different countries in South America and Europe. However, in 2008, the Lord called me to lead in the local church as a Minister of Worship Arts.

I received my Bachelor of Music Performance from Louisiana State University in 1998, and a Master of Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music in 2001; in 2012, I went back to receive my Master of Theological Studies from Liberty University. My wife, Melissa, has her own private practice as a Nurse Practitioner, and is passionate about what God has called her to do in the local church as well. In fact, she leads children’s choirs, helps with the tech team and sings in the choir. Together, we are raising four strong-willed teenage boys, Ramsey, Levi, Cooper and Micah. They are all very busy with school, sports and helping us feed our three dogs and
seven chickens!!

Born in New Orleans, I love all things Cajun. I love to cook gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee and catfish couvillon. I also love to play tennis, golf, ping-pong and pickle ball when I find the time. I have a passion to enlist, develop and motivate singers and musicians to help me in facilitating uplifting worship services for the local church. I also have a desire to lead the Worship Arts Ministry into the community. We are currently planning concerts in local assisted living facilities, downtown Mount Dora and civic organizations, such as The American Legion and the V.F.W.
