My life’s passion is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My personal life goals are to see 10,000 people enter his kingdom and at least 1,000 of those commit to full-time Christian service.

I’ve had the privilege of serving here at First Mount Dora since 2007. In that time, we’ve seen God’s blessings on His church. We’ve just finished paying off approximately 3 million in debt while continuing to reach the greater Mount Dora area for Christ!

Before coming to beautiful Mount Dora, I was honored to have worked as a Crusade Associate for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. I also served as a missionary in Hungry & Germany and on an evangelistic team in Montana.

I received my Bachelors of Business Administration from Delta State University. While there, I was called into full-time Christian service. I then attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for a Master’s of Divinity. I received my Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I met my wife Sheri while at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is beautiful inside and out. She is a fantastic mother, wonderful speaker, servant, Sunday School Teacher, Women’s leader, Board of Directors member for the Florida Baptist Children’s Home and a strong, mature Christian. At the age of twenty, she was diagnosed with cancer— God spared her and our future children. She is the love of my life.

We were married on June 17, 2000. We have three beautiful miracle children, each born in a different Southern State; one in Texas, one in Louisiana, and one in Florida.

I was born July 7, 1970. I became a Christian during a revival on a Friday night, August of 1982. December 30, 1989, God called me into full-time Christian Service at an event in Fort Worth, TX. It is my joy to preach the gospel and lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is a privilege to pastor here at First Mount Dora. And to lead God’s church under the direction of His Holy Spirit.
