Welcome to First Mount Dora’s website! See the exciting things God is doing in the life of our church. We hope your online experience will give you a picture of who we are, why we are here, and how you can connect. We hope to see you soon!
Whether you are new to our area or to First Mount Dora, we would love to have the opportunity to minister to you. At First Mount Dora, it’s all about connecting – to God, to other people, and to service. We would love to meet you and worship with you as together we seek to grow in service through our love for Christ.
We encourage you to visit the Welcome Center when you arrive on our campus. We have greeters located at the Worship Center doors who will welcome you with smiles and help you navigate your way around our campus.
Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Thomas Jamieson, would love to meet with you and personally welcome you to our church. After each service, Pastor Jamieson will be in the visitor’s room where you can visit with him. The visitor’s room is located across from the Welcome Center.
Families with infants and children are welcomed in our services; however, we do provide extended care for infants through Pre-K during service.
We divide all children, birth – grade school, in age appropriate classes that provide a safe and nurturing environment. All nursery and childcare workers have had background checks.
During our 11 a.m. service we offer Children’s Church for K – 3rd Grade, in Room C-7 in our Kid’s Building.
We have regular and handicap parking around our campus. If you are a newcomer or a visitor, we have special parking posted and would love for you to use these spaces.
We also have an overflow lot located adjacent to the Church across 1st Ave.
